Senior UX/UI Designer*in
Berlin
We help people bring digital products, brands, and experiences to the point. Together with founders, marketing teams, and product owners, we design websites, applications, and digitally-minded brands that genuinely move businesses forward.
Good design only happens when people stay close to the problem. That's why we believe in being fully involved and taking full ownership at all times, no matter what role we play.
And that's exactly where you come in.
We're currently looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer who wants to work closely with our small team of designers, product minds, and strategic partners to create digital products that people genuinely enjoy using.
What to expect
As a Senior UX/UI Designer at Silberpuls, you will:
Own the design of your projects from the first idea to the final handover.
Understand your clients' problems and goals, and translate them together with project management into a clear design brief.
Develop product concepts, user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes that make ideas tangible before they're built.
Translate solid concepts into interface design for web and app, ensuring the look and feel fits the brand and the audience.
Build and maintain modular design systems that hold up long after launch.
Present your work confidently and independently to clients: with substance, conviction, and business relevance.
Shape scope, effort, and feasibility together with your PM so that great solutions also fit the budget.
Sharpen your colleagues' work through reviews, sparring, and honest feedback.
Live our understanding of service: long-term relationships over short-term wins.
What you should bring
To thrive in this role, you should:
Have at least 5 years of experience in digital product, UX, or UI design from agencies, product studios, or in-house product teams.
Know your tools inside out, especially Figma, for rapid prototyping and precise interfaces.
Work confidently with modular design systems and libraries.
Make interface decisions that understand both UX requirements and frontend reality: form and function, not form versus function.
Bring a sense for how design decisions affect our clients' business outcomes.
Communicate strongly in both German (native or at least C1) and English (fluent). A large part of our client work, workshops, and presentations runs in German.
Feel comfortable presenting to clients, facilitating workshops, and framing design decisions in ways that land.
Use AI tools in research, ideation, and production with curiosity and your own judgment, and share what works with the team.
Work in a structured, pragmatic way and turn an unstructured brief into a clear next step.
Value transparent, respectful collaboration and know when to ask for help.
The mindset that defines Silberpuls
We see ourselves as a small, collaborative team built on trust, honesty, and mutual support. To feel at home here, you should:
Be yourself. We value different personalities and backgrounds; they help us solve more interesting problems.
Be open. Share your thoughts, concerns, and ideas. Speak up early, not late.
Be respectful. Our work is demanding, but we treat each other the way we want to be treated. Every day.
Be collaborative. No one succeeds here alone.
Be proactive. Don't wait for problems to grow; address them, solve them, communicate them.
Be positive. We assume good intentions, trust the process, and work through challenges together.
Why Silberpuls?
You join a team that puts care over rush, people over egos, and clarity over chaos.
You work on a broad mix of digital projects across industries and stages of maturity. Enough variety to stay inspired, without losing focus.
Healthy working rhythms matter to us: virtually no overtime and a clear focus on sustainable delivery.
You receive fair compensation based on your experience, plus quality hardware and an annual learning budget.
A centrally located, welcoming office in Berlin-Kreuzberg and the option to work remotely from within Europe for up to four weeks a year.
We're a small, close-knit team that comes into the office several times a week. Ideally, we're looking for someone based in Berlin, but if you're in another German city, we're open to discussing it.
And above all: you're joining a place where people genuinely enjoy working together.
How we hire
First personal conversation. We start with a short, informal chat to understand your motivation and how we might fit together.
Design exercise. We work through a small, realistic design task together, one that reflects our day-to-day work. This usually includes conversations with team members, whether in person or online.
Decision. We make a call and let you know where we stand.
This gives us a clear picture of how you think and approach problems, and gives you a transparent sense of what working with us actually feels like.
We're aiming to fill the role soon. The process moves quickly, but never rushed.
If you want to design digital products that people genuinely enjoy using, and build warm, lasting partnerships along the way, we'd love to meet you.
Just drop us a message at jobs@silberpuls.de if you'd like to work with us.
